The Nuclear Industry Association (NIATR) announced that it is a member of the World Nuclear Association (WNA).
In the statement made by the association, it was stated that WNA is one of the world's largest umbrella organizations in the nuclear industry.
NIATR Chairman of the Board Alikaan Çiftçi, whose views were included in the statement, said, "Membership to WNA will be an important step for the Turkish industry. I think we will create mutual added value. This development means that the Turkish nuclear industry can take a more active role in international nuclear studies." made its assessment.
Çiftçi stated that with the WNA membership, Turkish industrialists will have the opportunity to take part in global business networks, reach new business opportunities and access new collaborations.
"I believe that our experience of doing international business in the nuclear sector will increase in this way." Ciftci noted that NIATR can take part as an official partner in the Nuclear Power Plants Summit program to be held in 2023.
